Tags

Labels applied to subscribers for segmentation and automation triggers.

Tags are metadata labels on subscribers — e.g. 'interested-finance', 'paid-member', 'source-twitter'. Tags enable segmentation (send only to tagged subscribers), automation triggers (start sequence when tag applied), and analytics (track which sources produce best subscribers). Most creator ESPs support unlimited tags. Tags persist through imports and are the primary segmentation mechanism for lists without complex CRM fields.
