Advertising Policy
Effective Date: July 12, 2026 · Last Updated: July 12, 2026
This Advertising Policy (“Policy”) outlines the creative, content, and landing-page standards for all advertisements served through the InfluencersKit platform, including those powered by the MailAdx ad network, direct sponsorships, and programmatic marketplace ads.
This Policy applies to all advertisers, agencies, and self-serve creators (“Advertisers”) who buy, display, or traffic ads inside email newsletters delivered by InfluencersKit. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Scope and Review Process
Every advertisement creative, its destination URL, and corresponding landing page submitted for distribution within the InfluencersKit and MailAdx network is subject to our review process:
- Pre-Campaign Review: Submitted campaigns undergo automated checks (such as malware scanning, redirect verification, and content categorization) and manual compliance reviews prior to being approved to serve.
- Post-Serve Monitoring: We continuously monitor landing pages and active creatives to ensure ongoing safety. We reserve the right to pause, reject, or remove any active creative, even if previously approved, due to policy updates, legal changes, or publisher block lists.
- Advertiser Responsibility: Approval of a creative does not imply legal compliance. Advertisers remain solely responsible for ensuring their ads and offerings comply with local, federal, and international laws.
2. Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are strictly prohibited from being advertised through the InfluencersKit and MailAdx network in all jurisdictions:
- Illegal Products & Services: Ads promoting illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, unlicensed medical practices, illegal operations, or products that facilitate unlawful acts.
- Counterfeit Goods: Counterfeit goods, replicas, or items that infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets.
- Weapons & Explosives: Firearms, ammunition, tactical combat weapons, fireworks, or blueprints/instructions for creating explosives and weapons.
- Adult & Sexually Explicit Material: Pornography, adult escorts, sexual aids, hookup services, or graphic/sexually suggestive imagery. Any content that exploits or sexualizes minors will result in immediate account termination and referral to federal authorities.
- Harassment & Hate Speech: Content that incites violence, promotes hatred, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
- Malware & Phishing: Creatives or landing pages that download spyware, adware, viruses, or other deceptive programs; phishing attempts; tech support scams; or fake browser warnings.
- Deceptive & Misleading Claims: False pricing, fake countdown timers, fabricated testimonials, claims of “miracle cures” or unrealistic health benefits, or ads impersonating brands, government entities, or the recipient's email client/service provider.
- Fraudulent Financial Schemes: Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM) programs, get-rich-quick offers, unregistered securities, or deceptive loan terms.
- Tobacco & Vaping: Cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, and associated accessories.
3. Restricted Content (Conditional Approval)
The following categories of content may be permitted under strict conditions, provided they comply with local laws in targeted regions and are opted in by the individual newsletter publishers:
- Alcoholic Beverages: Allowed only where permitted by local law. Ads must not target or depict minors, and must not encourage excessive consumption.
- Gambling & Gaming: Real-money online casinos, sports betting, and lotteries are restricted. Operators must hold valid licensing in the target jurisdictions, target only legal ages, and display responsible gaming disclaimers.
- Financial Services & Crypto: Credit offers, loans, investment advice, and cryptocurrency exchanges must hold appropriate registrations, disclose fees, and include necessary risk warnings.
- Health & Pharmacy: Prescription medications, medical devices, and health supplements. Prescription ads are restricted by geography, and supplements must carry required FDA/regulatory disclaimers and avoid treating disease claims.
- Political Campaigns: Political ads must identify the sponsor (e.g., “Paid for by...”), verify the advertiser's identity, and comply with election laws, including blackout windows.
- CBD & Hemp Products: Legal hemp and CBD products are allowed provided they comply with local laws, carry no medical claims, and satisfy payment gateway criteria.
4. Email-Specific Creative Standards
Because email clients process assets differently than web browsers (for example, email clients block JavaScript and external stylesheets), ads served in newsletters must adhere to these technical standards:
- No Scripts: Creatives must not contain JavaScript, iframe embeds, Flash, or active controls, as these will be stripped by email applications.
- Brand Identification: Ads must clearly feature the advertiser's name, logo, or brand. Ads must not mimic normal editorial content of the newsletter or simulate standard email-client threads.
- Fake UI Elements: Creatives must not display fake interactive elements, such as simulated play buttons, fake form fields, faux security warnings, or fake checkmarks.
- Ad Labels: Native ad formats rendered via InfluencersKit will include standard labelling (e.g., “Sponsored” or “Ad”). Suppression or concealment of these labels is prohibited.
- HTTPS Requirements: All image assets, click-through redirects, and landing pages must utilize secure HTTPS connections.
- File Sizes & Formats: Images must be optimized (e.g., compressed PNG, JPG, or GIF) and fit within the dimensions declared by the publisher placement to prevent clipping.
5. Landing Page Standards
The user experience after clicking an ad is as important as the ad itself. Landing pages must comply with:
- Offer Congruency: The landing page must match the product, service, and brand presented in the ad creative.
- Functionality: Landing pages must load quickly, have high availability, and render properly on both desktop and mobile devices.
- No Traps: Landing pages must not contain pop-up traps, disabling return buttons, automatic downloads, or infinite redirect loops.
- Transparency: Landing pages that collect user data must present a link to a valid privacy policy and secure explicit consent.
6. Tracking and Data Collection
- Tracking Beacons: Advertisers may use approved third-party tracking pixels (e.g., click/impression trackers) provided they do not attempt fingerprinting, cookie stuffing, or unauthorized cross-site tracking.
- Subscriber Privacy: Advertisers must respect privacy flags passed by the platform and must not attempt to reverse-engineer hashed subscriber identifiers.
- Postback Integrity: Conversion postback signals sent back to the platform must reflect actual, unmanipulated conversion events.
7. Targeting Constraints
- Minors Protection: Campaigns promoting restricted content (alcohol, gambling, dating, financial) must not target audiences under 18 (or 21 depending on region).
- Sensitive Attributes: Target parameters must not use sensitive categories such as medical conditions, religious affiliations, or sexual orientation.
8. Enforcement and Penalties
Failure to comply with this Policy may lead to immediate corrective actions, including:
- Rejection or pausing of active ad creatives or campaigns.
- Forfeiture of campaign spends linked to fraudulent or harmful ads.
- Account suspension or permanent termination without refunds for repeat or severe policy breaches.
If your campaign is paused or rejected, you will receive an automated notification with the policy citation. You may submit a modified creative for re-review or appeal the decision to our compliance team at policy@influencerskit.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We periodically update this Policy to adapt to legal requirements and industry practices. Updates take effect upon posting, and active advertisers are encouraged to check this page regularly.
