Spam Complaint Rate

The percentage of recipients who mark your email as spam.

Spam complaint rate is (Spam Reports ÷ Delivered Emails) × 100. ISPs consider anything above 0.1% problematic and above 0.3% grounds for blocking. Common causes: purchased lists, unclear signup consent, frequency mismatch, or misleading subject lines. Creator newsletters with genuine opt-in subscribers and consistent content typically stay well below 0.05%.
