Double Opt-In
A signup process requiring email confirmation before a subscriber is added to your list.
Double opt-in requires new subscribers to click a confirmation link in a verification email before they are fully subscribed. This reduces fake signups, spam traps, and typos that hurt deliverability. GDPR-friendly and recommended for paid newsletters. The tradeoff is 15–30% of signups never confirm — single opt-in converts more signups but carries higher spam risk. Most creator platforms including InfluencersKit support both models.
